AI Lawyer for small and medium businesses
For owners and managers who handle contracts, filings and records themselves, without an in-house legal team.
Your situation
In a small or medium business, legal work rarely arrives as a legal matter. It arrives as a supplier contract to sign by Friday, a lease renewal, a form from an authority, or a question about which records need to be kept and for how long. The owner or a manager usually handles it alongside everything else, and most of it is routine. The hard part is telling the routine from the risky, and finding time for the paperwork.
How AI Lawyer is planned to help
Three planned features matter most for a business.
- Compliance checklists: lists of what a business needs to file or keep, and when.
- Contracts and documents: help drafting and reviewing routine documents and contracts.
- Legal research with sources: ask a question in plain language and get research with its sources shown, so a manager or an advocate can check it.
Case organisation is planned as well: the documents and notes for one matter kept in one place, so that when you do involve an advocate, the papers are ready. None of these features is built yet.
What to expect, and what not to expect
A checklist can help you see what is usually due and what is usually kept. It cannot guarantee that a business is compliant, and AI Lawyer will not make that promise. Routine document help is meant for routine documents. Whether a contract is safe to sign, how to respond to a notice, or what to do in a dispute depends on your facts, and that is advice: AI Lawyer will direct you to a qualified advocate.
Your documents and your data
Business documents are often confidential. How and where AI Lawyer will store documents is not decided yet, so please do not rely on it for real matters until that is settled and published. This website collects nothing you type. If you call to join the waitlist, please do not share contract terms, names of parties or documents.
Next step
Pricing is not decided; the plan is a subscription, with options such as document credits. To hear when AI Lawyer opens, join the waitlist. Meanwhile, the blog has general guides on compliance checklists for small businesses and what to check in a routine document before you sign.
